Doing origami, which involves working with paper, is a different way of thinking. Origami has been used for decorative and artistic purposes, as well as a tool to teach basic principles of math and geometry.
This ancient art form has numerous benefits, including improving focus and concentration, encouraging creativity and self-expression, teaching patience and perseverance, and developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Additionally, origami promotes mindfulness and presence, improves problem-solving skills, and provides a sense of calm and well-being.
*Kusudama literally means “medicine ball.” Since the Heian period, it has been believed to protect against illness and has been used as a decorative item filled with herbs and adorned with flowers.
