Relaxation massage
with Despina (Tuesdays&on request)
price: 1 hour/ 65 euro
Hi, my name is Despina. As a curious and open person I have lived in quite a few countries before I land in Rotterdam and call it home. I would describe myself as relaxed, creative and observant. With a background in Fine Art Studies I approach everything in life as a creative process. I have studied the human anatomy on the basis of model drawing and it has never bored me until this very day. I have always had interest in every culture and their holistic approaches to health and wellbeing. After reading a lot about it, I decided to take a Chinese massage course, I got convinced that this suits me and started working as a therapist in 2018. My learning journey continues until today following trigger point therapy, lomi lomi, tuina and thai table massage courses. Massaging comes naturally to me and I find joy in being able to create a moment for people to take a break from our fast-running society, deeply relax and connect with themselves.
During my session I aim to create a safe and comfortable space where you can unwind and reconnect with your body and emotions. I achieve that by using a combination of techniques according to the specific needs of your body: Soft and relaxing strokes, deep tissue, stretches and acupressure points. And since the body is not separate from the mind, I also use intuition, empathy and active listening as parts of my practice.
My aim is to let you walk out feeling unblocked, balanced and deeply relaxed
Amber Massage*, Honey massage*, Chocolate massage*, Relaxation massage
with Sabine ( Thursdays & Saturdays)
price: 1 hour/ 70 euro
Hello beautiful people! I'm Sabine. Some time ago, I moved from Latvia to the Netherlands. I've been practicing massage for over 15 years as a side passion.
Much of my knowledge in naturopathy and holistic healing comes from my grandmother, a 4th-generation naturopath. Over the years, I’ve deepened my skills through self-study. I always test new methods on myself or my family before using them with clients. I don’t treat symptoms- I support the body’s natural ability to heal.
I believe every human has everything they need to be healthy and happy.

Amber Massage
Amber massage is a rare and powerful therapy—ancient, natural, and deeply restorative. Though still overlooked in many modern spas, it offers profound benefits, especially when practiced regularly.
Amber is not a stone—it’s fossilized tree resin, formed over millions of years. Known for its healing properties since ancient times, it has been used to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and calm the nervous system. Even Hippocrates documented its medicinal uses.
The key active component, succinic acid, is known for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Amber also contains terpenes and other organic compounds like camphor, borneol, and fenchol—all natural disinfectants and soothing agents.
Baltic amber in particular—among the oldest and most potent—has been linked to improved mood, reduced anxiety, better sleep, and even support for chronic skin issues like eczema.
Benefits
Amber massage may:
*Stimulate blood and lymph circulation
*Relieve swelling and muscle tension
*Firm the skin and reduce fine lines
*Help manage chronic skin conditions (e.g., eczema)
*Calm anxiety, stress, and nervous system imbalance
Thanks to amber’s ability to generate a light electric charge, the massage also activates muscle tissue on a subtle level.
What to Expect
A neutral, hypoallergenic massage oil (such as coconut or grape seed) is applied to reduce friction. The treatment is performed using warm, hand-carved Baltic amber palm stones.
Gentle, rhythmic techniques are used to stimulate circulation, support lymph drainage, and infuse the skin with the energetic properties of amber.
Results
Amber massage leaves the skin feeling smooth, firm, and nourished. Over time, it can help reduce inflammation, boost vitality, and ease emotional and physical stress. It’s a deeply grounding treatment that supports the body on multiple levels.
Please Note (Contraindications)
Amber massage is not suitable for those with:
Open wounds, infections, or tumors
Flu, fever, or other active illnesses
Menstruation (massage of any kind is not advised)
Severe heart conditions (consult your doctor)
Pregnancy (doctor’s approval required)
*Honey massage is not just a luxurious spa treatment – it’s a powerful natural therapy. Used for centuries, honey offers incredible benefits thanks to its rich mix of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and natural antibiotics. It deeply nourishes the skin, promotes healing, reduces cellulite, eases tension, and supports overall relaxation.
During the massage, Sabine uses warmed raw honey mixed with oil, applying it with special techniques that both cleanse and exfoliate the skin. The treatment lasts 60 minutes, leaving the skin silky, revitalized, and full of essential nutrients.
Benefits include:
- Detoxification and deep skin cleansing
- Cellulite reduction and improved skin tone
- Relief from exhaustion, anxiety, and burnout
- Treatment support for sunburns, scars, and wrinkles
Please note: Honey massage is not suitable for those with honey allergies, active infections, wounds, eczema, heart conditions (without GP advice), or during menstruation. Pregnant clients should consult their doctor first. Hair removal is recommended before treatment.
**Chocolate Massage
Cacao beans are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Chocolate boosts endorphins—the “happiness hormone”—and speeds up cell regeneration, making skin firmer and reducing cellulite. It protects against UV damage and free radicals, acting as a powerful anti-aging agent. With more theobromine and caffeine than green tea or coffee, chocolate stimulates blood flow, keeps skin hydrated, and minerals like calcium and zinc promote new cell growth and help regulate oil, reducing acne.
How Is It Done?
Pure 85% vegan-friendly dark chocolate is melted with a bit of massage oil and cooled to a safe temperature. It’s spread over the body, then wrapped in aluminum foil and covered with a towel for 60 minutes. During this time, a relaxing face and neck massage is performed.
Results
Besides one hour of deep relaxation, the massage visibly improves skin health from the first session. Regular treatments rejuvenate skin, reduce signs of aging, and help with acne, cellulite, and stretch marks.
Contraindications
Not suitable for people allergic to chocolate or its components. Avoid on open wounds, eczema, tumors, infectious diseases, flu, fever, menstrual bleeding, and pregnancy (to prevent compliations.
