Drawing the Suggestion is a 3-hour workshop that moves between conversation, observation, and making.

The focus is on how a feeling can shift and take form through drawing.

We begin together and let the process unfold through a series of prompts, where objects, words, and images gradually enter the work.

These are translated into drawings and collages on large paper, allowing space for transformation rather than explanation.

No experience is needed.

Materials will be provided.

A short break with drinks and snacks is included.

The workshop will be held in English, Turksih and Dutch, depending on participants.

Hüma Birgül is a multidisciplinary artist based in Rotterdam, working across visual art, film, and participatory formats.

She also engages with holistic approaches and trauma-sensitive practices, which inform her way of working.
